WarWithoutWithin – crowdsourced poem #3

You thought you could stymie a poet by only supplying one line, did you? Only two words poetry friends; well you can’t stymie a poet. In response to the prompt, Where have you found yourself?, I received the line, In paradise, from old friend Russel P. Thank you! And of course you have! I thought of how to approach the poem for two days, a poem based upon that prompt and those two words alone. I thought a haiku, or some snapshot imagist vision through the lens of my day. Journaling while obsessing over images and scenes of war turned into a two page poem I’ve edited down to this, which I submit to you, poetry friends.

Look for another soon, and please take part!
